hi, im not an lpg expert, but im starting understand that these systems are not that comlictaed. i bought a mercedes 300E already convertedon lpg, it is mechanical injection so it uses a gas mixer (very simple) i had all kinds of problems from electrics on the car not working properly and abs brakes when in use would cause the car to cut out! the idleing of the car would be eratic, the cold start enrichment circuitry wouldnt work sometimes. likelt i graduated in elctronic engineering.i bought all the circuit diagrams for the car, started studying what was going on elctrically. then i realised that even though the the gas installation was done professionally and i had a certificate from a reputable gas installer! the installer had no idea about the car manufucaters electrical load and onboard circuits. because if he did! he would have sugested to put a more powerful alternator on the system, a voltage regulator and a new circuit for the lpg system. instead the system was tapped in electrically into the engine management system and caused a voltage overload, thus kept blowing my over voltage protection relays which protect the ECU. this then had an effect of the over all control of the engine management system, such as idling, abs braking because the ABS was on the same circulit just after the ECU. i now have another mercedes same model since the other one has been involved in an acciedent. but i have taken the system off and i want to put it on my new car but i dont trust any lpg installer to do it since they do not have suffciaent knowledge about mercedes cars. and to be honest after studying the circuit diagrams i undersatand exactly whats going on elctrically on the merc. but i need a landi renzo circuit diagram. if any one could help! i would much appreciate it.
